This biography of Constantine Simonides contains details about Constantine Simonides, his great-uncle Benedict, his mother and father, Constantin Tischendorf, and many other people, events, places and documents rarely found in other places. Stewart confused and a number of dates and names, however. These are documented in "Who Faked the 'World's Oldest Bible'?" available at www.chick.com, amazon, etc.
While Stewart's identity, location and even existence were doubted by some scholars, all that information is readily searchable. But though he and his family lived and worked in London, and the publisher of this book was in London on the Strand, not one of the critics bothered to take a walk or a short carriage ride to verify the information contained in this book. This is a rare book to find, and I found it by accident a few years ago. It is well in the public domain. And it is well-worth the public being able to view without a paywall or obstruction.
